Placed at no.9 only above the Zimbabwe in the ICC ODI rankings, The Bangladeshis are one of the underdogs in the 14 teams Mega tournament. On a rare day of inspiration where someone besides Rahim & Shakib Al Hassan has a good day, may be can cause a dent but unlikely to even make it into the knock out stage.

All rounder Soumya Sarkar, who mad his debut against Zimbabwe last month has been rewarded for his strong domestic performances with a spot. The 21 year old Sarkar played his only one day match against Zimbabwe in Dhaka. Besides Sarakar who has score heavily in the ongoing Dhaka Premier Division competition, left arm spinner Taijul Islam & attacking batsman Sabbir Rahman also made their way to the World Cup Praty.

The side will be lead by fast bowler Mushrafee Mortaza who is the most experienced player in their squad while all rounder Shakib will be his deputy.
Iqbal, Rahim & Anamul being the key batsmen for the Bangladeshis no hope is lost for the tigers to show a gud batting batting performance while Mortaza himself will get some help from experienced Shakib & Mahmadullah in bowling department.

Playing in foreign conditions in Australia much depends on the pace bowling attack & technique in batsmen which lacks in the Bangladeshi dressing room. Shakib Al Hassan playing for Adelaide Strikers in Australia might be a help for them to know about the pitch and overall cricketting condition in Australia.
By analysing all the facts and numbers it can be said Bangladeshis can win hearts but highly unlikely to win matches.
